Welcome to the Drumnadrochit Medical Practice web site. We are a three-partner dispensing practice situated in the village of Drumnadrochit, 15 miles south west of the city of Inverness. Our list of 1,750 patients is widely dispersed within the practice boundary, which extends from Lochend in the north to Glenmoriston in the south and westerly to Cannich and Tomich (see Map of area).

Our practice is able to provide a variety of services including complementary therapies, in the form of acupuncture and homeopathy, when required. Nurse-lead clinics, on Tuesday-Thursday afternoons, deal with some of the more common health issues managed in our community, such as asthma and diabetes. All consultations, with either a practice nurse or a doctor, are by appointment.  See Practice information.

Six doctors contribute towards the service provided by Drumnadrochit Medical Practice. There are three ‘partners’ (one full-time, two part-time); one GP Registrar (that is, a qualified doctor who is training specifically to be a GP); one part-time GP on the Retainer Scheme (which allows for more flexible working patterns, designed especially for GPs who have family commitments); and a GP who provides cover for holidays and study leave.
